Roof cleaning in Batavia, Illinois

Roof cleaning in Batavia clears the lichen, moss, and black streaks that spread on asphalt shingles. Integrity Softwash Solutions LLC uses a soft wash, so the shingles are cleaned without losing the granules that protect them.

What grows on a roof

Lichen forms gray patches that eat into the shingle surface, and moss roots in and lifts the edge, which lets water under it. Black streaks are algae that runs down the roof with rain. All three favor the damp, shaded slopes.

What the soft wash clears:

• Gray lichen patches
• Moss on north and tree-shaded slopes
• Black algae streaks
• Leaf debris caught in valleys

What to expect

The solution is applied at low pressure, given time to break the growth down, then rinsed gently. Plants and property below are rinsed to protect them from the runoff. See the roof cleaning service page and the service areas overview.
