Roof cleaning in Des Plaines, Illinois

Roof cleaning in Des Plaines clears the leaf debris, moss, and black streaks that collect in roof valleys and on shaded slopes. Integrity Softwash Solutions LLC uses a soft wash, so the shingles are cleaned without losing the granules that protect them.

What grows on a roof

Leaves catch in the valleys and hold moisture, which is where moss and algae get started. Black streaks are gloeocapsa algae that runs down the roof with rain, and lichen forms gray patches that eat into the surface.

What the soft wash clears:

• Leaf debris caught in valleys
• Moss on shaded slopes
• Black algae streaks
• Gray lichen patches

What to expect

The solution is applied at low pressure, given time to break the growth down, then rinsed gently. Plants and property below are rinsed to protect them from the runoff. See the roof cleaning service page and the service areas overview.
